About the Role
We are looking for a bright, highly organised, and proactive individual to join The Tallis Scholars in an operations and managerial role. This is a new post answering directly to Peter Phillips, liaising between the director, the singers, the promoters and agents in the UK and abroad.
Key Responsibilities
Fixing singers, budgeting, travel and hotel bookings, creating itineraries, obtaining visas, sourcing music, booking rehearsal venues, attending concerts, occasional touring, paying singers, social media, invoicing, general administration, liaising with local agents, venues, festivals and all stakeholders.
About You
Essential:

Prior experience in arts administration

Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple ongoing tasks

Strong communication skills – confident and professional in person, via email and on the phone

Excellent attention to detail – accuracy is crucial when dealing with performance information, logistics, and contractual matters

A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and the ability to anticipate needs

Confidence working independently

Friendly, empathetic, patient and adaptable

Comfortable using digital tools, software and social media

Confidence with setting up/implementing new systems & processes

UK based
Desirable:

A background in classical music (whether through study, work, or performance)

An enthusiasm and knowledge of choral music
