This is the first article in a new blog, which I intend to post here on an irregular basis. These articles will be focussed on topics of interest (to me), which may include insights into the music we are singing, and describing the way we work. But the backbone will be the Journal I’ve been writing since 1987, amounting now to 101 volumes of 200 pages each, over three million words. This is a big resource to mine, and I shall think it worth revisiting all those past years and concerts, if you feel like commenting in the box below.

Tuesday 17 March - No Resting Place

The release of our latest disc on March 13 th 2026 has been years in the making. Entitled No Resting Place , all the music is by Nico Muhly, celebrating a partnership which began on the 13 th November 2013 in Williams Center for the Arts, Lafayette College in Easton PA, when we gave the world premiere of Recordare .
