Nico Muhly and The Tallis Scholars present No Resting Place, a collection of works commissioned by director Peter Phillips that Muhly wrote for the award-winning ensemble over the last ten years.
The six world premiere recordings range from short works like Prosperitie, written to mark Phillips' 70th birthday, to the large-scale title work, No Resting Place, inspired by the Windrush generation.
This album marks the start of a new collaboration between The Tallis Scholars and Linn Records.
